Trails in Guadalupe River State Park

Bald Cypress Trail

A 0.6-mile easy trail that follows along the river, showcasing the beauty of the Guadalupe River and the majestic bald cypress trees lining its banks.

River Overlook Trail

A moderate 1.1-mile trail that offers scenic views of the river from higher elevations. It’s great for bird watching and enjoying the park’s natural beauty.

Barred Owl Trail

A short 0.7-mile trail that connects to other trails in the park, providing a quiet and serene hiking experience through wooded areas.

Painted Bunting Trail

This 1.3-mile moderate trail winds through varied terrain and offers opportunities to see a range of wildlife, including the colorful painted bunting bird.

Discovery Trail

A 2.2-mile loop trail that combines parts of several trails in the park, perfect for a longer hike to explore different ecosystems within the park.

Panther Canyon Nature Trail in Landa Park

A 1.8-mile out-and-back trail that is moderately difficult. It takes hikers through a scenic canyon with diverse flora and fauna, offering a peaceful nature escape within New Braunfels.

Fischer Park Trails

Trails total approximately 2 miles and are easy, family-friendly paths winding around fishing ponds, a splash pad, playgrounds, and picnic areas.

Dry Comal Creek Trail

This is a 2.25 Mile loop open to hike and mountain bikes, located off Loop 337 and Dry Comal Creek.

County Line Memorial Trail

Extends 2.18 miles from County Line Road to FM 724
